For the 8th edition of its rally, the NATO Flying Club headed to Austria and Switzerland in May 2005. Four single-engine, four-seat private aircraft took part in the rally which started in Charleroi airport. On the way to Austria, stops were made at Hosin (Czech Republic) and Maribor (Slovenia). Austria was crossed via Zeltweg, Aigen, Wiener-Neustadt and Tulln-Langenlebarn. The four aircraft then took the direction of Sion in Switzerland before heading back to Charleroi after a week of flying.
