From 30 August till 6 September, Schleswig-Jagel air base, home of Luftwaffe's AKG-51, held the 2004 NATO Tiger Meet. This event was attended by over 40 aircraft from 10 NATO countries. A spotters' day was organised on 3 September. It was blessed with very fine weather and some colourful aircraft.
The spotters community has welcome a new event on the circuit: the European Trainers Meet. It took place for the first time on 29 June this year at Beauvechain AB, Belgium.
From 1 till 12 September, Florennes air base hosted exercise VOLCANEX 03/CSAR – CIS. Around fifteen helicopters took part in this exercise organised by the European Air Group.
